Hello, I joined this forum because I am interesting in making automobiles more efficient, simple (easy to work on, maintain and fix), and fuel efficient. I think it's kind of pathetic the direction that vehicles are taking being high tech, hard to work on, and fuel hogs.
I think it's cool to get from point A to point B with the least amount of fuel in the most efficient way possible. I also hope we can someday swap out the engines/transmissions of old vehicles with high efficient motors. All while keeping cars low tech, simple and cheap to fix. The tricky part is keeping them low tech while also having computer systems that might be required to optimize the electrical drive train and sensors.

Hi Spectrum! Welcome to the community, we're very new so feel free to pass the word around so that we can spread the knowledge even better!Let me know if you need something specific or some of your interests and I'd be glad to share what I know!
Have fun and ride on!
P.S. It's hard to notice at first, but if you look in the NavBar up top there's links to things I'll be frequently updating, like service/owner manuals and such!

If you plan on putting all car manuals up there, you have quite a job ahead of you

I'm still new to this boards.net site. Is there a way to subscribe to threads so I know when they are responded to?

Let's just say it'll be uploaded as they're found or as people upload them I'll update the list And I'm not sure, I think if you bookmark it it should send you a notification! Top right of thread: Actions > Bookmark
